_msdcs with an old NS entry

Hello all,

I'm currently going through the DNS manager on my windows 2008 DC following the demotion of another 2008dc on the same network, and have noticed something a little off!

Under my forwards lookup zones I have

_msdcs.domainname.local

-> _msdcs.derby.local

domainname.local

-> _msdcs

The second _msdcs folder is greyed out (delegated) and the only NS listed is a server that was demoted recently. Can anyone advise on the best way to resolve this?

I've been through numerous KB's and microsoft articles, but nothing really meshes with the situation that I'm in.
