Afternoon!
I have a previous employee returning who has been a user on the domain and has been deleted. That's not a problem with email, shared access and everything everything you would expect from setting up a new user.
Odd thing is, I had to go in and take ownership of his previous redirectedfolders and remove it before his desktop would work properly. Even during setup, the error was that the folderredirection could not be setup, to remove it or point it to a different location. I removed it.
That fixed THAT issue. Now to the main issue. Just wanted you to have a history.
When I go to the companyweb site, he does not have access. I send the email to grant him access, go in, approve his access as contribute and read (we did this so only the person who placed data or the administrators of the site could delete content) and try to logon again and he still does not have access. I check his permissions and they say the same as others: read, contribute, limited access.
I think there's still some remnants of his old profile in there disallowing me from granting permissions the system is recognizing.
Any ideas how to fix this? The option of just creating him as another username is, unfortunately, not an option.
Thanks!
