Have an interesting scenario:
Server 2012 x64/Win 7 Enterprise x64 environment - mix of desktops and laptops
I created a GPO to have our company building with logo setup as my user's desktop background. I created the GPO in User Config -> Policies -> Admin Templates -> Desktop -> Desktop -> Desktop Wallpaper. The Desktop Wallpaper Style is: Center as this is the best positioning for the image. I also created an adm template to change the background color to a dark blue.
Here's the interesting part.... on most of my machines, the desktop has the image where and it should be and the blue background as borders on the left and right side of the screen. On some of my machines, the borders are on the top and bottom of the screen. Any particular reason for that? Think it could be based on the monitor's themselves and/or resolution issues?
The machines affected are desktops with external monitors. My environment has all different brands and size monitors, unfortunately.
There are some laptops that are connected to external monitors that do not have this issue and so far every laptop I have configured has the borders on the left and right side of the screen.
Not really sure where I can go from here. Any help is greatly appreciated.
