We are rolling out a LAN messaging software and it's over 100 computers. This is the first time I'm trying to do a software deployment with GP. Unfortunately these computers are on a Windows Server 2000 domain and are all in the Computers container. I thought I figured it out. Made an OU and created a GP with the software install and what not. Move one computer from the Computers container to the OU I created with the GP. Go to the local computer force the update, restart the computer, it says it's installing and hit CTRL ALT DEL to log in and when logging in, I get two errors.
"Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator."
