Hi. I am trying to disable Internet Explorer compatibility mode completely on my domain computers. My domain controllers are running Windows Server 2008 R2 and they have IE11 on them. I have a variety of IE installations out there, from IE8 to IE11. I have read a bunch of articles online detailing how to accomplish this but I don't have the correct setting in my group policy editor on the DC. When I get to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer, I do not have Compatibility View listed there like I should have. I went to check out the local policy on one of my 2012 servers and I do see the setting there but I don't think that helps me any. I have tried copying over the inetres.admx and inetres.adml files to the DC but that does not work.
As it possible to edit this policy on my 2008 DCs? If so, any help provided would be appreciated.
Thanks-Chris
