Hi all,
I was just wondering what people do when they have a mixture of 32-bit and 64-bit computers in their organization as far as folder redirection goes for Desktop Icons.
Our students have their folders redirected to a share(via GPO) on the server where they get their icons from. This has been working fine until we put in a lab of 64-bit computers. Because the Icons point to C:\Program Files when they log on to the 64-bit computers the icons all come up blank because the programs are installed in c:\Program Files (x86)\....
Any ideas how to overcome this without putting the icons in the Public\Desktop folder on each computer or is there a script that i can run via GPO that will hide the icons that are blank.
Any feedback would be much appreciated...
thanks
Darren
