I have a need to change UNCs for several GPO mapped drives. I've moved to a DFS based setup and want to start pointing users at the domain based DFS.
Mapped drives are currently setup as replace with a specific drive letter, and a mixture of them have 'reconnect' ticked.
It seems like it should be a simply case of changing paths, but the last time I attempted this, it did not appear to work.
I ended up removing users from the GPO, disconnecting the mapped drive manually, gpupdate /force manually and then applying the new mapped drive with a new GPO - this isn't practical for the scale of these new changes, however.
