Hi guys I am having a very weird issue. I have a multi-homed Domain Controller which is also the domain control. RRAS is not configured.
Everything was working fine till last week but it went into BSOD a few days ago. I had to boot it up with *Last Known Good Configuration* and am having problems ever since.
the hostname is psemaila2 and IP is 10.54.243.132 & domainname is presensoftmail.com. I can ping both the hostname and IP and also domainname from other servers in the network. but \\psemaila2 & \\10.54.243.132 results in "Network path not found"
Also, i tried \\psemaila2 on the Domain Controller itself. It opens but can't open the folders shared including sysvol & netlogon. i tried \\10.54.243.132 which results in Network Path not found. I tried \\127.0.0.1 everything works fine. \\presensoftmail.com does not work either.
I figured that the DNS Resolution is okay but I can't access the files shares. can anybody shed some light on this.
btw... Client for microsoft networks is installed & also File and printer sharing is installed. firewall is off.
