SpiceWorks HelpDesk & Active Directory

Dear All,

I am still quite a new user of SpiceWorks, whereas I was able to setup nearly anything.

I got one "minor" bug in the help desk though.

Topic: User login on Help Desk (SpiceWorks Version 6.2)

Help Desk Domain: server-ad01:9675/portal

I connected the help desk with our active directory which gives no error messages and e.g. the AD updates are working fine. Furthermore I entered all LDAP settings, again this is also working fine.

Nevertheless our users are experiencing the following with Chrome, Firefox as well as Internet Explorer (even more then the other browsers):

Once a user tries to go to the above domain (intranet) he will be greeted with a login window (see attached screenshot). When entering the windows credentials, the login screen does not disappear but "resets" so that you have to enter again and again.

The only way out is to click "cancel" on all appearing screens till you are finally on the user portal on which then the normal login is working fine with the same credentials tried beforehand.

Is this a known issue and if so any idea how I can fix that bug? Could it be connected to the port used?

I tried a few of the other search results' ideas, but it seems none worked till now.

Help very much appreciate and thanks for answers in advance!
