Our Domain Controllers are all Server 2003 and we have a mixture of Windows XP and Windows 7 PCs in the domain.
I am trying to find a way to push a scheduled task to run a batch file that kills a process on every PC before we do a backup of one of our servers. It doesn't hurt the backup but it locks up the software on the PCs once the connection is terminated.
I've consulted the almighty Google on the issue and can't come up with a straightforward way of doing this on Server 2003. Has anyone had any luck doing this?
