Hi,
I have recently created a policy for a terminal server to lock it down. my issue is that until I have moved all the printers to the correct IP range and set up GPP to map them automatically, we are required to map printers on a per user basis at set up.
I have attached a html report of my policy, which details the settings. i am unsure which one exactly prevents me typing \\computername into an explorer window to browse to my print server. I wish to enable this temporarily until printers are updated and set using GPP.
I have tried searching for this but cannot find anything specifically mentioning the backslash browsing method, only network locations/computers near me/entire network settings.
I hope you can appreciate i do not wish to relax my policy too much, or disable settings one by one. I am hoping some sharp shooter out there...
