Google Chrome on Xenapp Servers In addition to IE

Our current configuration consists of Citrix xenapp 6.5 servers with a published desktopand bothRedirected and Roaming profiles. Currently I redirect (My Documents, Desktop, Favorites, Appdata) in addition I have the %appdata% folder locked down from running any executables to warrant off any ransomware.

I just recently have installed IE 11 and it was requested that I also install chrome on the same server 2008 R2 servers.

I am a little hesitant to because their are things I control with group policy with the browser (homepage, search engine, addon's etc with IE) and I am not excited about supporting 2 different browsers. Has anybody else installed chrome in a Terminal S environment and have either redirected profiles or roaming profiles? And or the appdata folder locked down?

Are you administering chrome with group policy??
