Printer Deployment In GPO

Hi,

Print Server 2008R2 and AD

We are currently deploying printers using location ids and a script in GPO. Since we have upgraded to windows 7 our login times have taken a big hit. It can take a while for the user to login.

I have gone onto the print server and have selected the printer. I have given the user print access to that printer.

If i Rem the line out of the script for that room, the user logs in with no issue. Soon as i re add it, it plays up again.

I have gone through all other scripts and removed what does not need to be there and the login times have improved. Just seems to be printers that is causing the last issue.

Is there a better way to deploy printers? Or i am missing something obvious? i am really running out of ideas on how to sort out this issue.

Thanks

Ryan
