Does anyone even use Windows Firewall? The entire time I have worked here it has been disabled on workstations because we are a reseller and often do beta tests for our vendor applications and in-house builds before customer deployment for various IP telephone software solutions, IP Video / CCTV, nurse call, sound etc. So many times these things are being blocked that it was simply turned off...our Group Policy and Domain was poorly designed and administered though and now the previous IT person is gone so I am rebuilding...thinking of trying to manage this firewall stuff this time around and see how it goes.
