Have been working on implementing Group Policy drive mapping and printer mapping.
Have the drive mapping and even printers working to a point but I was curious if most implement this at a "location" level ( an OU in AD that represents a location ) or at a higher level ( an OU in AD that represent all you sites ).
Ideally I would love to be able to have one policy that covers all 3 of my sites and "updates" or "deletes" maps on computers as they move between sites ( lots of users bounce between sites ). It seems that this is an option with Item Level Targeting but I am also curious how much of an impact a GPP with lots of "steps" will have on the login time? Anyone running lots of "steps" in the GPP policies
