I have a script that takes a users info from AD and writes their signature file for them and also changes the registry to make it use it as default on all new and reply emails. The problem is that we have a few of "those people" that thinks its still ok to go in and edit the signature and save it. The script runs every time you login so it would just go back to that way it was but I want to set these files as read only or make it so they cant even modify it. In testing I tried activating a GPO to disable users changes to Outlook signatures but it completely negates my scripts and does not put any signatures in the email. Whats the easiest way to fix this issue?
