I've been asked to look into the implications of changing a handful of users login accounts in AD.
Does anybody know what would break if I did this?
My guess is that everything usually references the users SID so this shouldn't have any problems on user access levels or local machine permissions. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I do however expect problems in Exchange. Our policy is set to assign the user account login as an accepted email. We then usually add other email addresses which they then use as the default send/reply address.
