Logon in on wrong domain controller

Hi guy's,

we have 5 domain controllers 2 in the main office and 3 in other country's 

im at the main site where ther are 2 dc's

when i look where im logged on cmd "echo%logonserver%" its everyday an other dc that im logged on.

sometimes its local sometimes its in an other country.

is that normal ? should you be logging in at the site that you ar in ?
