I'm looking to finally phase out an old Win Server 2003 DC to a Win Server 2008R2. I will have to keep the Win 2003 DC on the network after the demotion due to the previous IT guy installing an App on the DCthat will need to get upgraded later. I have a plan of the tasks I need to accomplish and just want another set of eyes check it over. I've already added the new Win 2008 DC to AD and it's been running for 3 weeks now. I've also already moved the FSMO and DHCP roles off the 2003 DC. Due to this server running in the network for over 7 years I just want to DCPromo down the Win 2003 DC and rename the Win 2008 DC with the same name as the Win 2003 DC. Here is my task list, can someone just look this over and let me know if I missed something:
