I think I already know the answer to this one, but is there a way to control security permissions when using GPP Printers on Computers through TCP/IP?
A little background that might help:
I'm pushing printers out to Citrix servers. I have a print server, which has all the permissions set as I need them (people can only see and print to printers they should have access to); however, Computer Printer preferences only let me define Local or TCP/IP printers, not Shared printers. Unfortunately, doing them by User will slow down their login (we have almost 200 printers, so even targeting by user group will be a BIG slowdown), so we were thinking, having it apply to the server itself would speed that up a lot.
Any ideas on how we might control this?
The other idea I had is splitting each site by OU and having a printer GPO for each and moving the...
