I'm looking at restructuring our Active Directory.
I'm going to create a root OU called Departments and sub OUs for each one with a User and Workstation OU in each. This way AD is easier to manage and we can apply GPOs per department and so on.
We will have an OU for the IT Department but I'm wondering if the admin accounts should be in there or stay in their own Root OU like they are now.
Any suggestions?
