This morning we have had three adverse events on our network. Our Exchange 2003 mail server crashed with all sorts of bizarre findings (missing network drivers, Exchange SA won't start, etc.) and two workstations have lost their machine accounts and the users cannot log in with them. We also cannot log in with the local administrator account.
It sure looks like a virus and one of the impacted users reported downloading a PDF just before his machine went funky. He reported that the PDF was from a reputable professional site and I believe him. We are running up to date Sophos but it is sure looking like a virus infection.
Is anyone else seeing something similar?
