Okay so I am having an issue. I have some workstations that I want to NOT timeout because they display worklists that are on a station w/ a monitor up on the wall, our workers walk by all day and view the worklist....I dont want them to have to re-login all day....Below is a picture of what i got...
The Default Domain Policy is being applied to the entire domain, at the domain level, all OU's get this. The particular setting I'm trying to manage is in User Configuration>Policies>Administrative Templates>Control Panel/Personalization.....there are 4 Policies.
Enable Screen Saver, Force Specific Screen Saver, Password Protect the Screen Saver and Screen Saver Timeout.
The Default Domain policy has all 4 ENABLED and it's obviously working. But then on the "OBIX" policy I have a second level OU and i created this "obix" policy, and it has those 4 settings DISABLED.....
Why isnt it working, I put the windows users that are logging into these workstations in that OU, I've rebooted, logged off/on and did a gpupdate /force.....it's still timing them out on the intervals we have set in the default domain policy, I thought the polices applied from the top down and the last one that got served took precedence?
I'm stuck, any help would be GREATLY appreciated :)
